about dinky
Dinky is a childfree podcast hosted by long-time college best friends Erika and Kristen. Now in their late 30s, they launched the show in 2022 just after the overturning of Roe v. Wade, originally as a way to help Kristen navigate the life-changing question: to have kids or not to have kids.
What began as an honest exploration of reproductive choice, the DINK (Dual Income, No Kids) lifestyle, and modern womanhood has quickly grown into a top-rated podcast covering current events, childfree living, culture, relationships, feminism, and social commentary — all with sharp humor and heart.
In under three years, Dinky has:
Grown to 150,000+ social media followers
Generated 500,000+ podcast downloads
Hosted dozens of fans across the world on childfree trips
Been featured in major media publications (Seattle Times) and on public radio (Oregon Public Broadcasting)
Dinky has become a leading voice in the childfree community and a must-listen podcast for anyone navigating a life without kids.

dinky press
From the Newsette: "The space created by these two is rooted in research and data, but still infused with that silly, unhinged tone that comes out after you kick back a couple glasses of wine with your BFF. And just like convos with your BFF, no topic is off-limits with Dinky.... we promise we’re a fun podcast! As veterans of the entertainment industry, we love celebrity gossip, reality TV, and pop culture—so we weave those topics into most episodes. Pedro Pascal comes up a lot.”
